Ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to be an avid sewer. I used to watch my mom sew things of perfection for me. In my eyes, she was the perfect homemaker. As an adult, I am now trying to emulate some of her masterpieces. I have found several online stores that offer yards of beautiful fabrics by some of my favorite creators. Don’t get me wrong-I love going to my local Joann’s and Quilting Markets! Aside from finding some great deals online, NOTHING can beat the pure joy of shopping right from home. Sew, Mama, Sew!~Love this site! If anything, for its organization. The website is simple and makes it easy to find exactly what you are looking for. The prices are reasonable and I love that the forum features various project ideas and how-to’s. This site also features a gift section where you can purchase those cute litle fabric magnets and a remnant pack of various fabrics.
Etsy Shops~Okay, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Etsy, so check these out:
Crafty Kathleen~LOVE the vintage fabrics here! There are some real funny ones…hunky camping guys, Pegasus flying in the rainbow (Napoleon would die for this!), classic romance, etc.
Fabric Supplies ~Another great Etsy shop where you’ll find a wide assortment of fabrics from some of the most popular fabric designers-Butler, Horner, as well as some Japanese imports.
Materialgirlshoppe~ This is by far my favorite place to buy fabric. This site offers a wide selection of fabrics from Amy Butler, Joel Dewberry, Heather Bailey and Anna Marie Horner. I have ordered from the half yard sets and find this selection to be unbeatable. Shipping is cheap and fast. Love it!
